Air taxis to connect Texas airports to business hubs

Archer Aviation says its taxis will turn 90 minute drives into 20 minute flights.

Archer Aviation's Plans

Archer Aviation is building an electric air taxi network to transport people throughout Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, and Austin. The taxis will fly commuters between airports and business hubs within those regions.

"Archer’s air taxi networks... are designed to give Texans an option to skip over traffic on its all-electric Midnight air taxi, turning 60-90 minute drives to major airports, business districts and major destinations into 10-20 minute flights," officials said in a news release.

Archer plans to connect with five major airports in North Texas, including Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, to business hubs in Frisco and locations in Dallas County.
