Apollo’s Simoes Moves to Carlyle for Credit-Origination Role

Alexander Simoes is joining Carlyle Group Inc.’s credit business, according to people with knowledge of the matter, the firm’s latest private credit-related hire.
He will be a managing director on Carlyle’s direct lending origination team, one of the people added, asking not to be identified discussing a private matter.
Before joining Carlyle, Simoes was at Apollo.
