Asheville Restaurant to Close After More Than 20 Years of Business

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Limones will soon close its doors after more than 20 years in business in downtown Asheville.

In a Nov. 3 social media post, the owners of Limones announced their plans to retire from the industry and close the restaurant on Nov. 14.

"Since our opening in 2004, it has been an honor to be a part of the Asheville food community. We are grateful to everyone who has supported and dined with us over the past 22 years," the owners shared in a Facebook post. "A special thank you goes out to our wonderful staff, both past and present, whose hard work has helped make Limones what it is today."

The owners concluded by expressing their appreciation for the community's support over the years:

"Serving our community has been a privilege, and we couldn't have asked for anything more than the support you all have shown us throughout the years."
