Business Mercado Returns to Abilene

Business Mercado 2026 returned to the Abilene Convention Center on Saturday, showcasing local vendors, cultural performances, and family-friendly entertainment. The free event celebrated Hispanic heritage and local businesses.
Hosted by the Abilene Chamber of Commerce Hispanic Business Council, the event took place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. under the theme “Bringing Neighborhoods Together”.
Attendees explored local business booths, indulged in live music, traditional folk dancing, food, giveaways, and prizes. The Children’s Corner offered face painting and hair tinsel.
