NKY Chamber and Duke Energy Collaborate for Small Business Relief Grants
NKY Chamber of Commerce and Duke Energy Foundation have joined forces to offer relief grants to small businesses impacted by recent storms and flooding in Boone, Campbell, and Kenton counties.
Through a generous $100,000 grant from the Duke Energy Foundation, these organizations will distribute funding to eligible small businesses. The grants, ranging from $2,500 to $10,000, support businesses with 50 or fewer employees who are Duke Energy customers in the specified counties.
"Small businesses are vital to our communities," said Amy Spiller, president of Duke Energy Ohio & Kentucky. "Assisting them in recovering from severe weather events is crucial for the region's long-term prosperity."
Eligible expenses for these grants include:
- Reimbursing past expenses related to storm damage.
- Covering future needs like modifying physical spaces or investing in technology to enhance online commerce opportunities.
The application process and further details are available through the NKY Chamber of Commerce.
