Chinese travel agents are openly promoting North Korea trips for business delegations on social media, NK News has discovered, hinting at growing opportunities to enter the country despite the ongoing ban on Chinese tourism.

The trips to the border city of Rason and Pyongyang include factory and company visits, with dedicated North Korean guides, according to the travel agents’ posts. The prices range from 2,980 yuan ($445) for three days in Rason to 4,999 yuan ($747) for five days in Pyongyang.

While Chinese businesspeople have been able to visit since last year, these openly advertised trips signal a potential shift in North Korea's tourism policy.
