Cisco IQ Partner Support – Standard is now generally available, allowing partners to deliver Cisco IQ under their own brand.
Previously, Generali, a global insurance and asset management group, spent four days tracking affected devices across 16,000 devices in eight countries. With Cisco IQ, this process takes just ten minutes, including an actionable report. Similarly, Georgetown University, with 6,500 access points and 500 switches, streamlined their renewal process from two months to just 20 minutes.
This shift represents a fundamental change in business operations:
- Four days of work reduced to ten minutes.
- Two months of manual effort condensed to 20 minutes.
As demonstrated by over 16,000 customers running Cisco IQ across 20 million devices, the benefits are tangible.
Today, we're announcing the general availability of Cisco IQ Partner Support – Standard, unlocking new managed services opportunities for partners.
Traditional Infrastructure vs. Continuous Visibility:
Most infrastructure engagements still follow a project-based model: install, leave, and return when issues arise. This model is inadequate when threats evolve rapidly, demanding real-time, continuous visibility.
Cisco IQ offers partners continuous visibility into customer environments, enabling them to develop ongoing, contracted managed services. We've provided the tools to make this a reality:
- Open APIs
- ITSM integrations
- MCP Server support
This ensures a unified view for partners and customers, eliminating the need to reconcile spreadsheets.
Proactive Risk Management with Resilient Infrastructure:
With new, sophisticated attacks emerging, the window between vulnerability disclosure and exploitation is shrinking to minutes. Traditional annual health checks are no longer sufficient.
Leveraging asset visibility from Cisco IQ, partners can utilize Resilient Infrastructure Services to:
- Assess risk in real-time
- Develop prioritized remediation plans
We're introducing two new Resilient Infrastructure Service capabilities:
- Quantum Safe assessment: Identifies vulnerabilities that traditional patching cannot address.
- Software End of Vulnerability Support (EoVS) assessment: Provides visibility into software vulnerabilities for which no patches are available.
These capabilities empower partners to offer valuable new services to their customers.
