Springdale-based Clinic Receives Significant Funding for Rural Health Services

Community Clinic, based in Springdale, has been awarded a $3 million federal grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to expand substance use disorder prevention, treatment, and recovery services in rural Northwest Arkansas and northeast Oklahoma.

This investment will enhance access to behavioral healthcare, workforce development, and recovery support in underserved areas. The grant will be distributed over four years, providing $750,000 annually to address opioid use disorder and growing challenges related to methamphetamine, polysubstance use, and co-occurring behavioral health conditions.

The initiative specifically targets Madison and Carroll counties and rural communities within Benton County, as well as Delaware County, Oklahoma.

"This investment from HRSA allows us to strengthen our commitment to rural communities facing barriers to prevention, treatment, and recovery services," expressed Judd Semingson, President and CEO of Community Clinic.
