Echo Electric, a Sonepar company and full-line electrical distributor, has opened a location in Sioux Falls. The 50,000-square-foot facility at 815 E. Amidon St. is Echo Electric’s third South Dakota location. The company offers electrical products, equipment, and service at 64 branches in nine states.
A grand opening will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21.
“Our new Sioux Falls facility represents more than a new building. It is an investment in our customers, our associates, and the future of this growing region,” said president Chris Scarbrough in a statement.
The new branch features a full-service counter, logistics, project management support, and delivery services. Customers will also have access to the Power Center, offering rapidly assembled switchboards and panel solutions, wire services, and fasteners.
Echo Electric’s building previously housed Veritiv Operating Co., a provider of packaging and facility products, which no longer lists a Sioux Falls location.
The new location is managed by Dominique Torres, who brings experience in operations, supply chain, and customer service.
Echo is part of Sonepar, an independent family-owned French multinational corporation with a global footprint in business-to-business distribution of electrical products, solutions, and related services.
