Elbit adds $235 million deal to growing European rocket business
Elbit Systems is continuing to expand its rocket artillery business in Europe. The company announced Monday that it has secured a contract worth approximately $235 million to supply PULS (Precise & Universal Launching System) rocket artillery systems and EXTRA-MR precision-guided rockets, with a range of up to 80 kilometers, to an undisclosed European country.
This deal follows a series of European rocket artillery deals worth more than $1.2 billion combined, according to estimates. The new contract includes PULS launchers, EXTRA-MR rockets, additional rocket artillery platforms, and integrated logistical support.
Bezhalel (Butzi) Machlis, Elbit CEO, stated that the latest award reflects growing international demand for their rocket and launcher systems, which have been selected by customers worldwide, including in Europe and NATO member states.
