Employee Killed in Shootout with 2 Armed Suspects at L.A. Business
An employee was shot and killed after confronting two armed suspects who entered a business in Los Angeles Thursday evening, authorities said.

The shooting occurred around 7:30 p.m. at a business in the 2000 block of Nadeau Street, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Deputies responding to reports of a shooting found a man suffering from gunshot wounds inside the business. Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
Investigators said two armed suspects entered the business and exchanged gunfire with the victim, who was an employee. A second employee told detectives that they fled to the back of the building when the victim confronted the suspects.
Both suspects fled following the exchange of gunfire and remained unidentified as of Friday morning. The victim’s identity has not been released, and authorities have not disclosed what led to the confrontation.
