NRG Adventure Park, an "extreme indoor playground," is coming to Sioux Falls. This concept offers a blend of indoor play features, including trampolines, ball pits, climbing structures, slides, and foam pits.
Zachary Wittman, head of operations, describes NRG as:
"A next-level indoor playground/adventure zone where kids, teens, and adults can be active together. We’re built for high-energy fun but in a clean, safe, climate-controlled space that works year-round."
NRG has leased space in the 41st Street Marketplace, previously occupied by Hobby Lobby and intended for Urban Air.
Key Features:
- Diverse Attractions: Combines multiple indoor activities, catering to various ages and comfort levels.
- Open Play and Events: Offers daily passes, membership options, birthday parties, school groups, team events, and themed activities like "neon lights" and sensory-friendly experiences.
- Arcade: Includes a redemption center.
With seven locations open and eight more planned, NRG Adventure Park is expanding nationwide. The Sioux Falls location will mirror the design of their Fargo location.
Location and Timing:
- Address: 41st Street Marketplace (off 41st Street between Grange and West avenues).
- Opening Date: Expected in 2027.
The retail center is almost fully occupied, with only one 15,000-square-foot space remaining, currently occupied by Spirit Halloween.
