Two months ago, a man was gunned down in South Philadelphia, leaving his family searching for answers.
"This was a complete shock to us that he died due to gun violence. This is like senseless violence. To the point, how, why?"
Ronald Nutter Jr.'s family is still grappling with the sudden loss of their 38-year-old loved one. He was shot and killed around midnight on Thursday, July 30, 2026, on the 5900 block of Warrington Avenue.
They believe he may have been targeted, but they remain in the dark about the reason. Nutter, a business owner and father of six, was sitting in his car with South Carolina tags when he was struck multiple times.
"What reason would he have to be targeted by someone."
Police are seeking information on the incident and offer a $20,000 reward for tips leading to an arrest and conviction. Anyone with information is encouraged to call 215-546-TIPS.
"Just turn themselves in and give his mother some peace. His children deserve answers, his mother deserves answers."
