KCTV reports that firefighters responded to a fire involving piles of shredded tires at David’s Tire in Nevada, Missouri, on Saturday, October 10, 2026, around 5 p.m.
Crews successfully mitigated the immediate threat to the building but let the remaining tires burn under continuous monitoring due to extreme heat and water conservation needs. As of noon Sunday, they were still monitoring the fire and coordinating with relevant authorities.
