Jaunt Celebrates 50 Years of Business
Public transportation company Jaunt is celebrating 50-years of business.
Chris Ahlf reported:
In September 1975, Jaunt began servicing its first six passengers. Today, in 2026, the company transports a quarter of a million people annually, covering a combined total of over 2 million miles, as stated on their website.
Mike Murphy, CEO of Jaunt, attributes the company's success to its employees:
"My favorite part’s the people. Our employees really understand what it means to be public servants and that really is what it’s all about."
Looking ahead to 2027, Murphy shared plans for new software like live booking and expanded routes. Jaunt’s mission remains dedicated to its core values: people, service, and connection.
An invite-only event was held on Wednesday to commemorate this significant milestone.
