By Christina Capecchi

Scott Breimhorst, a 53-year-old father of three, couldn't refuse an offer that would shape his career and educate the next generation. Invited to lead a new business school at Holy Family Catholic High School in Victoria, he saw an opportunity to merge education and business, infusing Catholic and Lasallian values into future executives and entrepreneurs.

"There’s a huge call for this," Breimhorst said. "If we can put kids on a path where they go into business and they don’t forget the Catholic, Lasallian charism, then we’ve really made a dent in the world."

Breimhorst and his wife, Molly, reside in Chaska, where two of their children have graduated from Holy Family, and one is currently a junior.

A Love Story

Breimhorst and his wife met at Valleyfair, working in the games department as teenagers.

The New Business School

Breimhorst shares his excitement about the new business school, highlighting its ability to fulfill a need. He finds particular allure in the chance to combine his educational and business experiences, creating something impactful.

"I took a lot of walks and mentally walked through where I’d been. It just felt right."

His educational background includes studying at St. John’s University in Collegeville, and he began his career as an English teacher at Cretin-Derham Hall in St. Paul.
