Man Seriously Injured in Tractor-Trailer Crash on US-70W Business
A person was seriously injured in a crash on US-70W Business involving a tractor-trailer. The crash occurred around 8:15 a.m. when a tractor-trailer, with no trailer attached, ran a red light and collided with a car at the intersection of Guy Road.
The driver of the car suffered serious injuries and was transported to WakeMed. A passenger in the truck also sustained minor injuries and was also taken to WakeMed. The road was closed for approximately one hour. The truck driver received a citation for failing to stop at a red light.
