In addition to promoting the organization’s mission and advocating for affordable housing solutions in Northwest Arkansas, Sikorski has spearheaded the construction of McAuley Place in Bentonville. The project will provide 160 teachers, staff, and other residents in the Bentonville School District with high-quality affordable housing.

  • What is your ultimate hidden superpower that isn’t listed on your LinkedIn profile?

    • I tend to think I am an exceptional judge of character.
  • If you could trade places with any employee in your company for a day, which role would you pick and why?

    • Probably our CFO because it’s the only other job in the company that I think I could do well.
  • If you could send a one-sentence message back in time to yourself on your first day as an executive, what would it say?

    • Don’t be afraid to take more risks.
  • What tech investment has given your organization the highest return on investment in the past two years?

    • We’ve made significant, proprietary technology investments in our social services platform, Hark. Hark gives us a unique, data-informed view of the needs of individuals and families across Northwest Arkansas. Those insights help guide how we invest resources back into the community.
  • What is the most critical skill the next generation of leaders needs to develop?

    • A healthy dose of empathy (and humility).
  • What legacy or footprint do you most want your organization to leave behind?

    • I want for a significant number of folks in NWA to look back on Excellerate as an organization that was transformational in helping their families achieve financial security and independence.
