Ophthalmology Limited Expands and Renovates Location in Sioux Falls
Development
Ophthalmology Limited has completed the expansion and renovation of its eye surgery center and added new services. The practice, located at 6601 S. Minnesota Ave., has enhanced its facility with:
- Approximately 9,000 square feet of additional space, including 17 patient rooms, two operating rooms, and updated break and locker room areas.
- Two new operating rooms, bringing the total to four, for a more efficient surgical experience.
- Renovated laser room, waiting rooms, bathrooms, and offices to create a bright, welcoming, and private atmosphere.
Health Care Services
The expansion also includes the introduction of:
- Neuro-ophthalmology: Focuses on conditions affecting the connection between the eyes, optic nerves, brain, and nervous system, including optic nerve disorders, vision loss, double vision, and more.
- Adult Strabismus Care: Deals with eye misalignment and movement disorders in adults, such as double vision, eye strain, and depth perception issues.
Team Growth
With the expansion, Ophthalmology Limited has welcomed Dr. Adam Bleeker, a fellowship-trained specialist who returned to South Dakota after completing his residency and fellowship at the Dean McGee Eye Institute at the University of Oklahoma. The 27-person team is now better equipped to offer more surgical time and a wider range of procedures.
