Riverfront Home Tops Sales Report at $1.6M

Nov. 3, 2026

The most expensive residential sale for the week of Oct. 12 was $1.6 million for a house and two adjacent parcels that reach to the Big Sioux River on the east edge of Sioux Falls.

The 4,900-square-foot ranch house was custom-built in 2021 on a 1-acre lot in the Arbor’s Edge development. It boasts four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Features include a river overlook with a staircase leading to the water’s edge, a covered patio with motorized screens and a built-in heater, and stacked stone fireplaces in both the living area and master suite. There’s even a BB gun range in the lower level and a heated garage that can hold four vehicles, leading into a man cave.

Our weekly feature sifts through property transfer records in Minnehaha and Lincoln counties to uncover the 10 most expensive residential sales.

The property transfer information is sourced from the Minnehaha County Director of Equalization Office and the Lincoln County Register of Deeds Office. Addresses are primarily in Sioux Falls, unless otherwise noted.
