Boyle Heights residents, it's time to embrace the vibrant local businesses that make our neighborhood thrive! We're thrilled to introduce De Aquí: The Boyle Heights Business Passport, a collaborative effort between Boyle Heights Beat and the Boyle Heights Chamber of Commerce. This initiative encourages you to explore 18 local gems, support their missions, and have a chance to win amazing prizes.
How Does It Work?
- Visit: Explore the 18 participating businesses featured in your passport.
- Shop: Make a purchase at each stop, supporting these small businesses, makers, creatives, and entrepreneurs.
- Stamp: Ask each business to stamp your passport after your purchase.
- Win: Collect stamps to qualify for prizes!
- Collect at least 9 of 18 stamps by Oct. 30, 2026, for a special prize at the Día de Muertos Community Block Party at Mariachi Plaza.
- Gather all 18 stamps by Nov. 16, 2026, to enter a raffle for a curated gift basket from participating businesses.

Pick up your passport at any of the participating businesses or simply download it here. Once you've completed your journey, bring your filled passport to the Boyle Heights Beat newsroom (2026 E. 1st St., Los Angeles, CA 90033) during business hours to claim your prizes.
