Slim Chickens Closes East-Side Location
Nov. 3, 2026
Slim Chickens closed its location on East 10th Street last week, but the other two restaurants in Sioux Falls remain open. The fast-casual chain based in Arkansas specializes in fried chicken sandwiches and tenders. The franchise location at 2301 E. 10th St. opened in 2022, joining the restaurants on Minnesota Avenue, which opened in 2017, and on Louise Avenue, which opened the following year. The 10th Street location has been removed from the chain’s website, and an employee who was there on Friday confirmed it was permanently closed.
