St. Johns County recently brought aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners together with local organizations that provide resources, guidance, and support to help businesses start, operate, and grow.
More than 50 members of the local business community attended the Small Business Resource Event on Sept. 23, connecting with organizations that support entrepreneurs and small businesses throughout St. Johns County. Event partners included the St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce, Regions Bank, the Small Business Development Center, and other organizations that provide business services and resources.
The event offered an opportunity for entrepreneurs and business owners to learn about available resources, connect with local organizations, and build relationships with other members of the business community. These resources can help business owners navigate different stages of the entrepreneurial journey, including developing a business plan, accessing capital, expanding a business, and finding mentors and other professional support.
“We want to keep people in the game and support them throughout every stage of their business journey,” said Monica Dominguez, senior project manager for St. Johns County Economic Development. “Whether they’re looking to expand, access capital, find partners, or develop a strong business plan, this is where they can find the resources and connections they need.”
Starting and operating a small business can present significant challenges. However, with the right support and resources, entrepreneurs can turn their ideas into thriving businesses that contribute to the economic vitality of St. Johns County.
