Stevens Point Business 51 Southside Project Enters Stage 5

The Business 51 Southside Project is set to begin construction on Stage 5 on Thursday, October 8. This stage encompasses Business 51 from Michigan Avenue to the south side of Heffron Street, including the intersection at Michigan Avenue.
Project Updates:
- Stage 1: Substantially complete, with only minor work remaining under live traffic with localized control. Access will be via Minnesota Avenue from the south.
- Stage 2: Also substantially finished, with similar traffic management for residual work. Access from the south will be through Minnesota Avenue or Church Street.
- Stage 3: Mainline paving complete; concrete work like sidewalks and driveways is underway. Local access maintained over new pavement.
- Stage 4: Scheduled to begin utility work the week of October 5, with paving a week later. Local access will be over gravel during this stage.
