Susanville Tribal Businesses Sue SBA, Alleging Suspensions Cost Nearly $130M in Contracts
Tribal Business News reports that Susanville tribal businesses have sued the Small Business Administration (SBA), alleging that suspensions have resulted in the loss of nearly $130 million in contracts.
"We are seeking redress for the SBA’s failure to follow its own regulations and procedures, which has had a devastating impact on our businesses and our communities," said a spokesperson for the tribal businesses.
The lawsuit argues that these suspensions have caused significant financial harm to the businesses, hindering their ability to grow and contribute to the economic well-being of the tribe.
