The ease of shopping: Kroger breaks ground on new marketplace in Huntington
The Kroger Co. is breaking ground on a new marketplace in Huntington, West Virginia, the company announced Thursday.
The new store, located at the corner of 12th Street and 7th Avenue, is expected to create 50 full-time jobs and offer a variety of fresh produce, meats, and local products, according to a press release.
"This new Kroger Marketplace will be a gathering place for the community, offering a one-stop shop for all their grocery needs," said Mark Vancil, president of Kroger East. "We are excited to invest in Huntington and contribute to its continued growth."
The store is scheduled to open in fall 2024.
