Trump Praises Elon Musk as a 'Genius' While Defending Him Against Potential Democratic Probes
Trump has expressed his admiration for Elon Musk, calling him a 'genius' and offering a defense against any potential Democratic inquiries.
"Elon Musk is a genius," Trump stated, acknowledging the Tesla and SpaceX CEO's contributions to the tech and automotive industries. This comment came in the context of defending Musk against potential probes from the Democratic party, which have been rumored in light of Musk's recent Twitter acquisition.
Trump's endorsement serves as a show of support for Musk, who has faced scrutiny from Democrats regarding his online platforms and business practices. The former president's intervention may provide Musk with some political protection, although the extent of its impact remains to be seen.
This development underscores the complex political landscape surrounding tech giants and the varying approaches different parties take towards regulating them.
