Unilever is expanding digital twins to 40 sites worldwide, prioritizing measurable gains, repeatable processes, and workforce training.

As reported in Supply Chain Dive, Vicky Cuthbert, chief product supply chain officer for Unilever’s personal care business, emphasizes the importance of setting clear goals and tracking progress:

"As we started doing this work in the early days, we were probably not clear enough on making sure that we were driving a benefit that we could tangibly measure in the results."

Over the next 18 months, Unilever will collaborate with Accenture to roll out these digital twins, focusing on initial goals and metrics at each location.
