Woman arrested after allegedly shooting at business owner
FAIRFIELD COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Fairfield County deputies say a woman was arrested after shooting at a business owner.
On Tuesday, November 2, around 3:49 p.m., Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to Burbage Motorsports, located at 70 Independence Road in Winnsboro, following reports of a shots-fired incident.
During their investigation, deputies learned that a verbal altercation occurred between a female customer and employees of the business.
Deputies state that as the customer was leaving the property, she allegedly discharged a firearm towards the business owner.
Law enforcement identified the suspect as Ebony Arnette, who was located and taken into custody.
Arnette was arrested and charged with attempted murder, and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
She was transported to the Fairfield County Detention Center.
