BOARDMAN, Ohio – Approximately 90 students, faculty, and staff from Youngstown State University’s Williamson College of Business Administration actively participated in United We Care Volunteer Day.
On the morning of the event, they dedicated their time to sorting and packing essential supplies at the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley's Volunteer Resource Center. These donations, encompassing food, hygiene products, socks, and school essentials, will be distributed through the organization’s Care Closets in 34 local schools, offering much-needed support to students across the valley.
Laura Dewberry, director of the Center, expressed her gratitude for the university community's involvement, highlighting the significant impact these contributions will have on the lives of Mahoning Valley students.
