Indiana (WKRC) - Dozens of padlocks were found cut and more than a hundred mattresses were stolen from a business.
According to WXIN, police are investigating after 126 Nectar mattresses valued at about $113,000 were stolen from a warehouse in Indianapolis.
Officers responded early Monday to a reported burglary at a transportation company at 1600 Oliver Ave., according to an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department report reviewed by the outlet.
An employee at Central Transport found about 50 padlocks cut, smashed or broken, giving the burglars access to goods inside the business, police said, per the report.
The mattresses were being shipped by Central Transport. The report did not include a description of any suspects.
Anyone with information about the theft or a large number of Nectar mattresses is asked to contact IMPD. Tips can be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS.
