Acres Partners with ‘The Builder’s Daily’

Fayetteville-based land data platform Acres.com recently reached a data integration partnership with a news and information platform of HousingWire. The platform, “The Builder’s Daily,” focuses on the residential construction, homebuilding, architecture, technology, and land development sectors.

Through the partnership, the editorial team of “The Builder’s Daily” will integrate Acres’ nationwide land data to support reporting, analysis, and residential investment, development, and construction market activity across the United States.

According to a news release, the integration includes Acres’ Homebuilder Market Intelligence, which provides a nationwide view of homebuilding activity across every U.S. metro and micropolitan area. The product, launched in September, combines land transactions, platting activity, builder pipelines, housing transactions, and economic indicators.

“A thorough comprehension of the housing market begins with understanding the land and the foundation beneath it,” said Carter Malloy, founder and CEO of Acres. “HousingWire ‘TBD’ has built the industry’s standard for delivering news, data, and exclusive reporting on moves by homebuilding and residential development and investment industry players. By integrating Acres data into HousingWire’s reporting, we’re helping bring greater visibility to the development activity shaping housing supply across the country.”

“Gaining insight into strategic and tactical land acquisition trends and dynamics we can tap into through this partnership with Acres will dramatically enrich the HousingWire TBD team’s journalism and help homebuilding, residential development, and residential investment leaders make smarter decisions faster,” said John McManus, vice president of homebuilding at HousingWire and publisher of “The Builder’s Daily.”

“We’re thrilled about being able to add a whole new data-powered discipline in our day-to-day coverage of the new residential construction business sector.”

Acres has recorded more than 150 million parcel records and 60 million land transactions nationwide. The data shows where building is happening, where development is headed next, and how housing markets are changing. Acres has 70 full-time employees, including 13 remote workers.
