BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Baltimore police are investigating five early-morning business burglaries that occurred within three hours early Wednesday morning.

The first incident happened around 5:06 a.m. at PaperMoon Diner, located in the 200 block of West 29th Street. Police described it as two unidentified men breaking a window, entering the restaurant, and quickly leaving, with no property reported stolen.

Fourteen minutes later, officers responded to 29th Street Tavern, also in the 300 block of West 29th Street. A suspect, described as unidentified, broke the front glass door, entered, and attempted unsuccessfully to open the cash register, again with no property taken.

Around 5:31 a.m., three businesses in the 2000 block of West Maryland Avenue—Café Los Sueños, Mount Royal Soaps, and SpinCycle Coin Laundry—were burglarized. Police stated a single unidentified person broke a side window, entered one of the businesses, and stole a cash register and a coin-operated machine.

Detectives are investigating whether these burglaries are connected, noting their similar timing, locations, and methods.
