BOCA RATON, Fla. – While Gabriel Birnbaum entered college with a spot on the Florida Atlantic football team, he was still seeking purpose beyond the game. Combining his interest in business and his growing knowledge of the working world, Birnbaum has built a collectibles business, predominately in comic books, that has grown beyond what he imagined, even receiving national attention with an in-game segment on a recent ESPN broadcast.
Now in his junior season as a defensive lineman for the Owls, Birnbaum has also been able to bring dozens of his teammates along for the ride.
On the latest episode of "Inside The Owls' Burrow", host Frank Forte sat down with Birnbaum for a deep dive into his successful business.
"Inside the Owls' Burrow", the team's weekly show airing each Thursday throughout the season on The Spot, South Florida 39 (WSFL-TV), will air the show weekly on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. ET in the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale DMA with replays running to be determined. The Spot, South Florida 9 (WHDT-TV) will air the show on Thursday at 6 p.m. ET in the West Palm Beach-Fort Pierce DMA with replays to be determined.
