Louis Messina, Taylor Swift’s Tour Promoter, Urges Judge to Reject Live Nation/Ticketmaster Antitrust Settlement
Louis Messina, the tour promoter for Taylor Swift, has pleaded with a judge to reject the proposed antitrust settlement between Live Nation and Ticketmaster. In an interview with Variety, Messina expressed his concerns, stating "I could go out of business like other promoters who have fallen victim to Live Nation."
"Remember that in the world of live entertainment, the promoter is often left with the least leverage," said Messina. "’This settlement would only further erode our ability to negotiate fair terms and maintain our independence.’"
