Manchester Pizzeria Sees Business Boom After Dave Portnoy Review

Randy’s Wooster Street Pizza received an 8.1 out of 10 in a One Bite Pizza Review from Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy.

MANCHESTER, Conn. (WFSB) - Randy’s Wooster Street Pizza in Manchester received a rating of 8.1 out of 10 from Portnoy in his One Bite Pizza Reviews, solidifying Connecticut's reputation as the best state for pizza.

Since the review, the restaurant has experienced a surge in business, attracting both new and returning customers, according to general manager Staci Serrao.

"It’s a huge business increase, and it’s great because it’s not just a business increase of, like, ‘Hey, I’ve never been to Wooster Street,’" Serrao shared. "It’s also a business increase of people that haven’t been here in so long."

The restaurant recently relocated, which may have led some patrons to believe it had closed.

"We did move locations, so some people might have thought we closed, but we’ve been open the whole time," Serrao clarified. "So we’re kind of reintroducing ourselves for that."

Portnoy travels across the country, rating pizzerias on a scale of 1 to 10 in his One Bite reviews.

Randy’s Wooster Street Pizza serves up New Haven-style apizza in a Manchester setting. Their thin-crust pies feature a charred finish.

The restaurant's Hot Wheels-themed atmosphere, coupled with a menu of specialty pizzas and classic favorites, has garnered a loyal following within the Manchester community.
