Michelin’s highly anticipated list of top restaurants in Wilmington has already had a ripple effect on the local dining scene, according to several restaurateurs.

The recent unveiling of Michelin’s first-ever guide for Wilmington, highlighting several local eateries, has sparked a surge in business for many establishments, even before the official guide is released.

"It's been crazy," said Sarah Smith, co-owner of one of the featured restaurants. "We've had a lot of people coming in specifically because they saw us on the Michelin list."

Other restaurateurs echoed similar sentiments, noting a increase in reservations and inquiries since the announcement.

The positive impact extends beyond individual restaurants. The entire Wilmington culinary community is benefitting from the boost in tourism and recognition brought about by Michelin’s endorsement.

"This is a testament to the vibrant and diverse food scene we have here in Wilmington," said John Doe, a local food critic. "Michelin’s recognition will only serve to enhance our reputation as a culinary destination."
