Personalis Advances Business Strategy with Investment from Merck and Extends Collaboration with Moderna

FREMONT, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Personalis, Inc. (NASDAQ: PSNL) announced today agreements with long time collaborators Merck and Moderna that accelerate the advancement of the company’s business strategy.

Investment from Merck: Personalis has received an investment of $50 million from Merck, purchasing $3.56 per share of Personalis common stock. Merck now owns approximately 14 million shares, representing a 16.5% beneficial ownership interest.

Collaboration Extension: Merck and Moderna have extended their collaboration with Personalis, utilizing the ImmunoID NeXT Platform® and technology for V940/mRNA-4157, an individualized neoantigen therapy (INT).
