Rocket Pro Launches Quick Counter App for Mortgage Brokers

Rocket Pro is introducing a new tool to aid mortgage brokers in overcoming conversion challenges, as the lender continues to strengthen its wholesale business. Part of the company's Power Play initiative, the Quick Counter app allows brokers to create, adjust, and deliver competitive refinance loan estimates while on the phone with clients. This feature aims to prevent loan officers from losing momentum due to callbacks.

“The product directly addresses the issue of conversion, particularly in a challenging market,” said Austin Niemiec, chief revenue officer at Rocket. “Brokers can use Quick Counter to tweak options and deliver a precise loan estimate, ensuring they remain competitive and win clients.”

The app is an extension of Rocket's investment in its wholesale channel, building upon the recent launch of the Orbit platform, which offers brokers various advantages and perks to enhance their competitiveness.

Rocket has also extended pricing credits for broker partners working with Compass buyer's agents, resulting in $3 billion in rate locks since the partnership was announced in February.

“We are leveraging our resilience as a company to invest in and deliver value to brokers,” added Niemiec. “These initiatives collectively empower brokers to utilize our technology and pricing to become more competitive and agile in loan conversion.”

The full launch includes:

  • The Quick Counter app integrated into Rocket Pro Navigate, the company's AI hub for brokers.
  • Real-time loan estimate generation for cash-out and rate-and-term refinances.
  • Dynamic adjustments to rates, points, and loan terms.
  • Options to evaluate the lowest closing costs.

While Rocket doesn't have immediate data on the tool's effectiveness, they anticipate Quick Counter to be among the most utilized features within Rocket Pro Navigate. The app was developed by Seth Hasan, a West Capital Lending broker, who won The Big Pitch competition at Rocket Pro's RPX event in September.

“This was a broker-driven initiative, voted on by the entire broker community, and we collaborated closely with Seth and his team to bring their vision to life,” concluded Niemiec.
