Sarasota Business Expands: Playtri Opens New Location
Sarasota business Playtri has moved to a larger location near Lakewood Ranch, offering more space, improved access, and better parking for its customers.
The new store, officially opened on Oct. 17 at Lake Osprey Plaza, 6243 Lake Osprey Drive, Suite 3, hosts approximately 1,900 square feet of retail space.
Owner Rick Garrison shared his enthusiasm: "Our new space at Lake Osprey Plaza gives us a more visible, easier-to-reach home for the Sarasota and Lakewood Ranch triathlon community."
The move came in response to customer requests for better accessibility and amenities. The expanded location provides:
- Increased space for a wider selection of products.
- Easier access and less traffic.
- Improved parking.
All existing staff, bike service, and bike-fitting services have relocated to the new site. Playtri offers a range of products, including:
- Road and triathlon bikes
- Wetsuits
- Running and cycling apparel
- Sports nutrition
They also provide services such as bike repair, financing, group rides, and community events.
Wendy Crites of Florida CRE LLC facilitated the lease transaction.
