Supporting Midcoast Communities on Small Business Saturday
Column, Portland Press Herald - Maine Sunday Telegram
Small Business Saturday is a day to celebrate and support the local businesses that make our communities vibrant. It's an opportunity to show appreciation for the hard work and dedication of small business owners, who are the backbone of our economy.
In the world of small businesses, navigating the labyrinthine landscape can be both challenging and rewarding. These businesses often act as a tapestry of unique characters, each contributing to the symphony of our local sights and sounds. They are the places where folks gather, exchange stories, and create memories.
By choosing to shop local on Small Business Saturday, we can enhance and foster these relationships. It's a testament to the metamorphosis that occurs when we embrace and support our local business community. This indelible mark of support reverberates far beyond the day itself, empowering our towns and revolutionizing the way we interact with our surroundings.
