Oscarsborg Symposium on Nordic Security 2026

Private businesses are increasingly recognized as essential actors in defence and societal preparedness across the Nordic region. The 2026 Oscarsborg Symposium brings together key decision-makers, experts, and scholars to examine business-state cooperation in the context of a changing security landscape.

The symposium will:

• Compare approaches across Nordic countries and sectors, focusing on grocery retail and emerging technologies (drones and robotics).
• Explore the risks and opportunities presented by varying models of cooperation.
• Foster open dialogue on Nordic challenges in defence and preparedness.
