Vice President JD Vance Visits Kansas-Born Business Ahead of Midterm Election
United States Vice President JD Vance visited Haas Metal Engineering Inc. (HME Inc.) in Bozeman, Montana, on Monday morning, just north of Topeka, Kansas, as part of his GOP midterm campaign blitz. This stop comes a week after President Trump visited Park City, Kansas.
Vance addressed a rally, encouraging voters to re-elect Senator Roger Marshall, describing him as "one of the greatest senators in our country." He also criticized Adam Hamilton, Marshall's Democratic challenger, urging voters to send him back home.
President Trump also held a rally in Mississippi on the same day, targeting red states.
"In just one week, you’re not just going to elect an amazing governor here in Kansas. You have the opportunity to re-elect my dear friend Roger Marshall as your incredible United States Senator," Vance said.
Roger Marshall acknowledged Trump's support, mentioning the president's interest in Kansas farmers. He stressed the importance of maintaining the Senate majority to prevent Chuck Schumer from taking control.
The Kansas Republican Party announced another presidential visit to Salina, marking the third trip to the state in under two weeks.
