Students across diverse disciplines—from chemistry to English to music—now have a direct route to a master’s degree from a top-30 U.S. business school just one year after graduation.

Through Simon’s 4+1 Business Master’s Pathway, Kalamazoo College (K) students can pursue early admission alongside their undergraduate application or apply during their junior year. Five full-time, one-year master’s programs at Simon are available: business analytics, finance, management, marketing analytics, and artificial intelligence in business.

This pathway offers:

  • A 30% tuition scholarship toward graduate studies.
  • A streamlined application with no application fee.
  • Optional exemption from GMAT or GRE scores.
  • Access to Simon’s Benet Career Management Center, including a summer workshop and up to three career coaching sessions.
  • A direct transition from undergraduate to graduate business training.

“Employers seek individuals who can think across disciplines, adapt to change, and tackle challenging problems—qualities that a K education cultivates,” said Kalamazoo College President Karlyn Crowley. “Our partnership with Simon provides students with the opportunity to strengthen their business acumen without sacrificing their passion for their primary major.”

Simon Business School, consistently ranked among the top business schools in the U.S., offers a strong return on investment for graduates. It currently ranks in the top 30 among U.S. business schools in the Financial Times’ 2026 ranking.

“This collaboration with Kalamazoo College reflects our shared commitment to broadening access to high-quality graduate education,” said University of Rochester Provost Nicole Sampson. “By partnering with institutions like Kalamazoo College, we are enabling talented students to make a smoother transition from undergraduate to graduate study, ultimately preparing them for successful careers with a Simon degree.”
